The purpose of academic accreditation is to implement the Chinese government's policy of studying abroad, promote international exchange of education, and fulfill China's obligations under relevant international conventions and bilateral (multilateral) agreements; at the same time, it is also aimed at meeting the actual needs of foreign academic degree certificate and higher education diploma recipients in China for further study, employment and taking various professional qualification examinations Domestic employers and enrollment units should provide the basis and relevant advice for the identification of foreign academic degree certificates and higher education diplomas. With the approval of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council and the Ministry of education, the overseas study service center of the Ministry of education will provide certification services to the whole country for diploma and Diploma of higher education.

Certification content

To identify the legitimacy of foreign academic degree certificate or higher education diploma issuing institution; to identify the authenticity of academic degree certificate or higher education diploma issued by foreign universities or other higher education institutions, or higher education diploma with degree utility; to propose certification advisory opinions on the corresponding relationship between foreign academic degree and academic degree in China; to provide certification and evaluation for countries that have passed the certification evaluation (Overseas) academic degree certificate or higher education diploma issued by the written certification certificate (hereinafter referred to as the "certificate").

Scope of certification

The corresponding academic degree certificate or higher education diploma obtained by studying regular courses in foreign universities or other institutions of higher education, and studying in a Sino foreign cooperatively run school (project) approved by the education administrative department of the State Council of China shall be examined and approved by the people's governments of all provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government of the people's Republic of China and submitted to the education administrative department of the State Council of China Chinese foreign cooperatively run schools (projects) with higher vocational education and non diploma higher education have obtained Diploma of higher education abroad; those who have studied in universities or other institutions of higher education in Macao Special Administrative Region of China and Taiwan or other institutions of higher education have obtained corresponding diploma certificates or higher education diplomas. A bachelor's degree or above (including bachelor's degree) obtained from a university or other institution of higher education in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China.
