In China, the administration of marriage between men and women is the Civil Affairs Bureau of the city. China has a special "marriage law", which makes detailed legal provisions on marriage and divorce.
Conditions for marriage registration involving foreigners, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas Chinese:
1. Within the jurisdiction of the city;
2. Both men and women who want to get married shall jointly apply to the marriage registration office;
3. The man is 22 years old and the female is 20 years old;
4. Neither party has a spouse;
5. There is no direct blood relationship or collateral blood relationship within three generations between the parties;
6. Both parties voluntarily marry;
7. The party concerned holds legal documents and relevant materials.
Documents to be submitted by foreigners for marriage in China:
(1) His / her valid passport or other valid international travel documents;
(2) The certificate of no spouse issued by the notary office or competent authority of the country where the person is located, certified by the embassy (consulate) of the people's Republic of China in that country, or the certificate of no spouse issued by the Chinese embassy (consulate) in China.
